Time in all its states

Temporal data is present in a wide range of fields such as medicine, bioinformatics, environment, economy, finance, culture, engineering, social media. Whether monitoring the evolution of an epidemic over time, detecting environmental changes or changes in opinion, analyzing patient journeys, or even detecting changes in use language, there is a real need for approaches capable of detecting, representing, reasoning, or analyzing structured data sets or text corpora comprising evolutionary or temporal data. Temporal data can be complex in nature, and is often incomplete, uncertain, noisy, and voluminous, and its processing has been the subject of particularly active research in recent years.

The thematic day "Time in all its states" organized by AFIA aims to bring together researchers and manufacturers working on subjects related to the processing of temporal data in artificial intelligence. It will host communications that cover, without limitation, one or more of the following topics:

  • Temporal data models, ontologies, temporal constraints
  • Time and Automatic Natural Language Processing
  • Indexing, query languages
  • Temporal reasoning
  • Management of imprecision, incompleteness and uncertainty in temporal data
  • Temporal data mining, Classification, Prediction
  • Temporal sentiment analysis
  • Detection and representation of changes in evolving data
  • Visualization of temporal data
  • Applications involving temporal data

Submitted papers can be short (2 pages) or long (up to 12 pages) papers that may have already been presented in a national or international conference. Short articles can come up with new ideas that have not yet been evaluated.
